Troy, NY- Our women's basketball took on the Vikings of Hudson Valley last night and came out victorious with a dominant score of 75-40.

The Lazers jumped out to a quick lead ending the first quarter with a 22-13 lead. The defense tightened up even more in the second quarter holding the Vikings to only 4 points in the quarter and taking  a 42-17 lead into the half. The Lazers kept up the intensity in the second half and cruised to the victory. 

Avianna Baker led the Lazers in scoring with 16 points and also added 6 steals. Macey DeOrdio and Amaya Cunningham both ended the game with double-doubles. Macey had 13 points and 10 assist while Amaya added 12 points and 13 rebounds. 

The Lazers are back on the road Saturday as they travel to play Herkimer County Community College.
