The Onondaga women's basketball team defeats Genesee, 74-56, on Thursday. With the win, Onondaga moves to 1-0 overall and 1-0 in Regional play.
Sydni Eure led the way for the Lazers, scoring a team-high 22 points against the Cougars. The East Syracuse native finished the game with a game-high 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Teammate
Katelyn Karleski also put up double-digits against the Cougars, ending the day with 20 points.
The Lazers remain at home, as they host Hostos Community College at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
