The Onondaga women's basketball team fell to Hostos, 72-70, on Saturday. With the loss, Onondaga moves to 1-1 overall and 1-1 in Regional play.
Sydni Eure led the way for the Lazers, scoring a team-high 23 points against the Caimans. The East Syracuse native finished the game with a game-high 13 rebounds and 5 steals. Teammates
Katelyn Karleski and
Namir Davis also put up double-digits against the Caimans, Karleski ended the with 19 points and Davis ended with 13 point.
The Lazers remain at home, as they host Rowan Gloucester at 12:00 p.m. for more Region III action on Sunday.
