Box Score #3 Onondaga Women's Lacrosse was defeated by #1 Monroe Community College, 15-6, on Saturday evening at David W. Murphy Field.
Victoria Thompson scored first for the Lazers, four minutes from opening draw. Monroe took the lead with back-to-back goals, but Thompson continued her presence as she tied the game halfway through the first. Â The Tribunes scored two more to close out the first half, giving the Lazers a, 4-2, deficit.
After an evenly played first half, Monroe scored three straight to start the second. Bridget Moore and Michaela Whiteman cut the shortage to three, but the Tribunes netted seven unanswered to close the door on the Lazers.
Victoria Thompson scored 4 goals and captiured 5 ground balls, while Bridget Moore and Michaela Whiteman each scored one.
Onondaga visits Mohawk Valley Community College on April 12th at 6pm.
