Box Score #3 Onondaga Women's Lacrosse defeated Genesee Community College, 23-1, on Wednesday night on David W. Murphy Field.
Brigid Regin tallied a game-high seven points with 4 goals and 3 assists. Kass Myers tallied 3 goals and 3 assists, and Victoria Thompson netted 5 goals. Three points apiece came from Molly Beck (2 goals, 1 assist), Molly Martinichio (3 goals), and Erin Dingman (2 goals, 1 assist).
Michaela Whiteman's hustle play earned her seven groundballs. Brigid Regin captured five groundballs and four each came from Molly Beck and Margo Smith.
The Lazers goalies shared the victory. Makenzie O'Brien started in net by stopping one shot, Meg Evangelista gave up one goal and saved one, and Kaylin Pafumi tallied five saves in the last thirty minutes of play.
The Lazers are back in action this Saturday at 4:15pm against archrival Monroe Community College on David W. Murphy Field. Onondaga Athletics is teaming up with Maureen's Hope Foundation, and our athletes will be participating in their Carry a Bead Program for this game. All proceeds will be directly donated to the foundation.
