Box Score #3 Onondaga Women's Lacrosse commanded their home turf on Tuesday afternoon with an, 18-3, victory over Frederick Community College.
The Lazers jumped out to a quick, 2-0, lead off goals from Kass Myers and Brigid Regin when Cayley Ruane scored one for the Cougars. After a scoreless ten minutes, Erin Dingman put the Lazers lead back to two with the help of one of Mya Miller's game-high 5 assists. The duo connected again 8 minutes later to increase the Lazers lead to three. The first half was even with 12 shots from both teams, but Onondaga held the, 7-1, lead. Onondaga's offense remained hot through the second half by added 11 more goals for the win.
Kass Myers continues to lead the Lazers with her second straight game scoring a game-high 5 goals. Molly Beck scored 4 goals and dished out 1 assist for the second game in a row. Three points apiece came from veterans Brigid Regin (3 goals) and Erin Dingman (2 goals, 1 assist), while freshman Christie Allen scored two goals.
Meg Evangelista made 6 saves and gave up one goal through 40 minutes of play, and Kaylin Pafumi finished the last 20 minutes stopping two and giving up 2 goals.
Onondaga will host Genesee Community College under the lights of David W. Murphy Field on Wednesday, April 5th at 7pm.
