Syracuse, N.Y. – The Onondaga Community College baseball team dropped both ends of the doubleheader against seventh-ranked Niagara County Community College, 6-2, 14-4, Thursday evening at the baseball complex.

Game One: Niagara CCC 6, Onondaga 2

Freshman center fielder Terry Daniels led the offense going 2-3 with two doubles, while Austin Hall and Nate Budge collected one hit each. Onondaga finished with just four hits in the opening game.

Sophomore righty Nick Claver suffered his second loss on the year going seven innings giving up six runs (five earned) on 12 hits.

Game Two: Niagara CCC 14, Onondaga 4

Budge collected two hits for the Lazers and Chad Raychel lined a double down the right field line for two RBI's in the nightcap. Hall, Paul Fitzgibbons, Josh Cosgrove and Kevin Myers each added a hit for the Onondaga offense.

Freshman righty Aaron Beck (6-1) took the loss giving up eight runs on six hits in just one inning of work.

Onondaga (18-11) looks to end its six game slide when they travel to Tompkins Cortland Community College on Saturday for a doubleheader slated for 12 and 2:30 p.m.
