Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Onondaga Community College softball team claimed the first game against Mohawk Valley Community College, 7-3, but fell to South Suburban College, 3-6 in the nightcap to close out the team's spring break trip down in Myrtle Beach.
Game One: Onondaga 7, Mohawk Valley CC 3Emily Clapper went 2-2 with three runs scored and four stolen bases to lead the Onondaga Lazers softball team to their first victory of the season.
Caitlin Wormuth also added two hits of her own in the winning effort.
Kyra Hunsinger collected a double while

Morgan Neadom and
Jess Rodriguez each collected a hit.

Morgan Nichols went the distance in the circle giving up three runs while striking out seven.
Game Two: South Suburban College 6, Onondaga 3The Lazer's offense was highlighted by
Samantha Moon who went 3-3 with a double and run scored.
Morgan Nichols collected two hits and registered an RBI.
Chelcee Staats accounted for two RBI on the night on one hit.
Emily Clapper,
Kyra Hunsinger and
Morgan Neadom each had a hit for the Lazers.
Staats went four solid innings in the circle giving up two runs on seven hits.
The Lazers (1-7) return to action next Thursday against Genesee Community College at the Softball Complex.
