The Lazers proceeded to put up a nine spot in the top of the second inning all with two outs. Kevin Myers led off the frame with a walk. After the next two batters got out, Austin Hall lined a single to center. After a Mikey Espinal walk to load the bases, Myers came in on a passed ball. After a Budge walk to load the bases again, Ascenzi followed suit with a walk of his own to plate Hall. Daniels was then hit by a pitch to score Espinal to give Onondaga a 4-1 lead. After another walk by Josh Cosgrove, Myers lined a single to left center scoring Ascenzi and Daniels to extend the lead to 7-1. Pinch-hitter Anthony Sinicropi singled to left scoring Cosgrove. Justin Mathers then launched a two-run double to dead center capping off the nine run second inning and making the score 10-1.
