Natalie Parkins control of the draw circle helped propel the second-ranked Onondaga Lazers women's lacrosse team to an impressive 21-2 win over Frederick Community College to open up their 2016 season. The Lazers were led by sophomore attackers
Cheyenne Burnam, three goals and three assists, and
Jaycie Annable, four goals and one assist.
Freshman midfielder
Victoria Thompson started off her collegiate career with a four goal effort, while
Madison Pritchard added two goals and two assists. Freshman midfielder
Brigid Regin led the team with nine groundballs and two goals.
The defense was led by freshman goalie
Mia Pascuzzi, sister's Seanna (sophomore) and
Toni Laneve (freshman), sophomore
Alison Hernandez and
Natalie Parkins.
The Lazers (1-0) return to action next Friday against CCBC Essex in Baltimore, MD.
