Box Score Lazers Women's Basketball travelled to Troy, NY to take on Hudson Valley Community College and came home with the, 96-52, victory over the Vikings.
The two teams went bucket for bucket through the first quarter, ending with OCC in the lead, 21-20. Coach
Mike Wheeler sent the Lazers out in a full-court press to start the second, forcing four quick turnovers and six points. Hudson Valley came within two with three minutes remaining before the half, but the Lazers defense forced two key turnovers late in the quarter, and
Jordan Vaught went 2 for 2 from the line to end the half with a 41-33 lead.
Onondaga ran away with the game in the second half, outscoring Hudson Valley 30-10 in the third quarter and 25-9 in the fourth. For the second game in a row the Lazers deep bench secured the victory in the back-half of the game with 48 of their own points.
Sam Britton went to work early and often, completing the game with a season-high 24 points.

The #8 Lazers improve their record to 8-2 and travel to Herkimer Community College this Saturday for a 3pm start.Â
