Onondaga took set one after coming back from a 4-8 deficit to win 25-17. The Red Barons controlled the second set from the start with an early 5-0 lead and finished the set with a 25-12 victory. OCC responded in set three with Kayla Bryant serving up a 4-0 start and the Lazers fought off the late comeback attempt by Corning to take set three 25-21 to go up 2-1 in the match.  Corning came back again to win the fourth set, 25-16, to tie the match back at two games each. However, the Lazers refused to loose on their home court by winning set five 15-9, and wining the match 3-2.

The Lazers look forward to maintain their momentum by hosting the Twelfth Annual Cara Bryant Tournament at Allyn Hall this Friday and Saturday.
