Gallery: (9-12-2026) Cara and Hy Bryant Memorial Tournament
Syracuse, NY - Onondaga Volleyball hosted the annual Cara and Hy Bryant Memorial Tournament in Allyn Hall this weekend with visitors from SUNY Broome, Cayuga, and Corning. The Lazers move to 7-2 on the season after defeating the Hornets in Match one and Corning in Match two.
OCC took match one 3 sets to 1 falling short 22-25 in the third.
Rebekah Beasley led the pack with 14 kills and 6 digs. Setter
Chylure Bucktooth tied her career high with 8 service aces and tallied 40 assists.
Grace Schmid tallied 12 kills, 5 digs, and 4 service aces in the victory.
The Lazers took match two 3 sets to none over the Red Barons.
Ella Beckering had a strong showing with 13 kills. Schmid added 11 kills and 17 digs onto her day total. Setter
Natalie Hughes finsihed with 32 assists.
The Lazers look to continue their dominance this Tuesday, September 15th in Allyn Hall with Cayuga Community College at 6pm.
