The Onondaga Community College baseball team picked up two pivotal wins after sweeping two more games against the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers on Saturday in Canandaigua.

The wins capped a four-game sweep for the Lazers as Onondaga moves it season record to 2-16 while Finger Lakes falls to 13-23.

Game One: Onondaga 14, Finger Lakes 13Â
The Lazers' bats caught fire in the sixth and seventh innings as Onondaga would score 12 runs in the final two innings fueled by homeruns from
Dylan Nardocci,
Paul Fitzgibbons and
Avery Brooks to orchestrate a late-game comeback.

Luke Drancsak preserved the win for the Lazers after holding Finger Lakes at bay over the final two frames.

Game Two: Onondaga 8, Finger Lakes 4Â
Eric Thompson provided the big blow at the dish for Onondaga with his first-career homerun while the Lazers' pitching staff handled the rest.

Chad Warren started the game for Onondaga and would be credited with his third win of the season while
Nate Budge came on in relief to earn a two-inning save.

The Lazers will return to the fold at 4 p.m. on Tuesday when they host SUNY Broome at the Baseball Complex.
