The Onondaga Community College lost both ends of a doubleheader to Niagara County Community College on Thursday afternoon in Sanborn.

The Lazers settle for a split with the Thunderwolves in the four-game series after taking the first two games on Tuesday. Onondaga evens its season mark at 16-16 while Niagara County ends the day at 18-8.

Game One: Onondaga o, Niagara County 6The Lazers would give up four runs in the bottom of the first inning and were never able to recover as Niagara County held Onondaga scoreless over seven innings en route to a 6-0 win.
Reynaldo Hernandez took the loss after going four innings and allowing five runs, four of which were earned. Hernandez is now 4-2 on the season.
Game Two: Onondaga 4, Niagara County 12Â
The Lazers would get on the board first in the top of the second inning, however, seven quick runs in the second and third innings would grant Niagara County a 7-2 lead heading into the fourth frame.
Onondaga would plate a pair in the fifth inning, but four more Thunderwolves' runs in the sixth ended any hope of a Lazers' comeback.
Ryan Martin (0-2) was credited with the loss after pitching four innings with eight runs being scored against him.

Baseball will return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday when it hosts Finger Lakes Community College at the Baseball Complex.
