The nationally-ranked Onondaga Community College women's basketball team wrapped up its 14th consecutive win on Tuesday after running away from Cayuga Community College, 73-42, in Auburn.  With the win, No. 3 Onondaga concludes its regular season schedule with a 24-4 overall record and a 12-0 mark in conference play while the Spartans finish the season at 10-15 including a 4-8 record against Mid-State Athletic Conference opponents.
 
The Lazers would lead throughout eventually building a 29-point lead at the half, 44-15.
 
The second half was much closer as Onondaga outscored the Spartans by only two points, 29-27, but the lead was too much for Cayuga to overcome as Onondaga earned a 73-44 decision.
 
Brittany Anderson led the way for Onondaga with 21 points and shot better than 62.0% (8-of-13) from the field while Alisia Griffin added 14 points.  Samantha Roberts continued to find open teammates and finished with 10 assists to go along with four points and Kumba Marong chipped in with seven points and a team-high nine rebounds.
 
Onondaga will look to win its 15th straight game and 82nd in MSAC play at 5 p.m. on Friday when it takes on fourth-seeded Corning Community College in the semifinal round of the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship in Allyn Hall.  Jefferson will duel SUNY Broome in the other semifinal matchup with the winner of each battling for the conference crown at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
