Box Score The Onondaga volleyball team traveled to Corning Community College to compete for the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon. The #4 seeded Lazers faced the top seeded host Red Barons in one semi-final, and came up on the short end, 25-23 25-18 25-14. Corning went on to capture the conference title by defeating #3 Jefferson Community College in the final.

The Lazers return to the court next Saturday when they compete for the NJCAA Region III Division III Championship at Niagara County Community College. The #6 seeded Lazers will face #2 Genesee Community College, #3 Jefferson Community College, and #7 Fulton-Montgomery Community College in pool play on Saturday. The top two finishers in the pool will advance to the semi-finals on Sunday. The winner of the Region III Tournament will advance to the NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament in Rochester, MN, on November 13th and 14th.
