The Onondaga women's volleyball team has been seeded #6 for the upcoming NJCAA Region III Division III Championship Tournament. The tournament will be hosted by Niagara County Community College on Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st. On Saturday, the Lazers will compete in a pool with #2 Genesee Community College, #3 Jefferson Community College, and #7 Fulton-Montgomery Community College. Matches begin at 1:00 pm.
The Lazers completed the regular season with an overall record of 19-15. They faced all three pool opponents during the regular season, dropping both matches to Genesee, winning 1 of 3 matches against Jefferson, and splitting 2 matches with Fulton-Montgomery.

Before getting to regional play the Lazers will compete for the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship this Saturday at Corning. The Lazers will face the host and regular season champion Red Barons in one semi-final at 12:00 pm, with SUNY Broome and Jefferson squaring off in the other semi. The two winners will meet immediately following for the MSAC title.
