The Onondaga Community College volleyball team remained unbeaten in Mid-State Athletic Conference (MSAC) play on Wednesday after picking up a straight-set victory at Tompkins Cortland Community College.
With the win, Onondaga improves to 12-6 overall and boasts a 4-0 record against conference opponents.
The Lazers won the first two sets in identical fashion, out playing the Panthers 25-17 in each frame before holding on for a four-point win in the deciding set, 25-21.
Isabella Winklestine led with a team-high five kills to go along with two blocks, three digs and an ace.Â
Jessica Cost posted 14 assists in the win along with four digs while
Leslie Santos and
Sydney Burritt each tallied six digs for Onondaga.Â
Najah Amica and
Melissa Krak had four kills.
Onondaga will return to action on Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m. when they Lazers play Mohawk Valley Community College followed by Fulton-Montgomery and Herkimer as part of the Onondaga Community College POD play in Allyn Hall.
