The Onondaga women's lacrosse team has received the #2 seed for the National Junior College Athletic Association Region III Tournament.  The Lazers, 13-1 on the season and ranked #2 in the country in the most recent NJCAA poll, will play #3 seeded Jefferson Community College (6-2-1) on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm at Monroe Community College in Rochester.  The Lazers defeated the Cannoneers, 17-6, on April 2nd.

Top seed Monroe Community College (13-0) will host #4 seed Genesee Community College (6-3) at noon in Saturday's first semi-final.  The two winners will meet Sunday at 1:00 pm, also at Monroe, for the regional championship.  Both of Saturday's winners will also advance to the NJCAA National Tournament, to be hosted by Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, MD, on May 10th and 11th.
