The nationally-ranked Onondaga Community College women's basketball team picked up its 10th win of the season on Saturday after outlasting Herkimer County Community College, 80-55, in a Region III matchup in Herkimer.

The No. 9 Lazers, now 10-2 on the season, will return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday when they face Monroe College in the Mustang Winter Tip-Off in the Bronx.

Leading by only two points at the break, the Lazers would put the game away quickly in the second stanza courtesy of a 12-0 run.Â

The Generals would try to contain Onondaga's potent offense, but would be unable to contain Onondaga's inside-out game as the visitors cruised to the win.

Brittany Anderson continued her hot shooting from downtown as the Seneca Falls native poured in a game-high six 3-pointers en route to a team-high 26 points.Â
Alisia Griffin also played well in the win, contributing 14 points and nine rebounds while freshman guard
Emiko Powell added 11 points and five assists.
