Six different players scored a goal on the day the Lazers celebrated Sophomore Night as the Onondaga Community College women's soccer team posted a 6-1 win over Erie Community College on Wednesday at David W. Murphy Field.

The win, Onondaga's 10th, marks the second consecutive season that the Lazers have recorded double digit wins. Erie dips to 3-9 overall.

It didn't take long for the Lazers to get on the board with Bridget Field scoring her team-leading 11th goal of the season in the 15th minute of play with Jaycee Annable earning an assist on the play.

Less than a minute later, Onondaga would double its lead to 2-0 as Kayla Sharkey connected with Tori Burns for the goal.

The game would remain deadlocked at 2-0 until the 31st minute when Carlee Kingston beat her defender and found Alexandra Gallo who booted home the Lazers' third goal of the contest.

The Lazers continue to build their lead, however, as goals by Kayla Sharkey and Gretchen Krzykowski would stake the Lazers to a 5-0 lead heading into the half.

Onondaga would add to its lead in the 63rd minute when Bridget Field was able to break loose from the Erie defense before finding Brie Fabrize open on the far side as the freshman forward kicked in the Lazers' sixth goal of the afternoon.

The Kats would avoid the shutout after scoring in the 84th minute, but it was too little, too late as the Lazers would earn the win.

Margaret Choroser picked up her eighth win of the season in goal for the Lazers and pushed her season record to 8-4-1.

Onondaga will return to the field at 1 p.m. on Saturday when it visits Genesee Community College in Batavia.
