The Onondaga Community College women's soccer team closed out its regular season on Saturday with a 3-1 loss to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.
With the defeat, the Lazers finish the 2014 regular season with an overall record of 10-6-1 while Hudson Valley improves to 10-3-1.
After trailing 2-0 at halftime, the Lazers would find themselves in a three-goal hole after the Vikings netted another goal early on in the second half.
Onondaga's lone goal would come in the 65th minute when
Brie Fabrize notched her 10th goal of the season with
Sarina Karito picking up her first-career assist on the play.
The Lazers will return to play on Saturday and will host an opening round contest in the 2014 NJCAA Region III Championship at David. W. Murphy Field.
