Box Score Dryden, NY - Tompkins Cortland Community College scored a basket with 10:18 left in the first half to take a 12-11 lead over the #2-ranked Onondaga Community College women's basketball team on Saturday afternoon only to get outscored 36-17 for the remainder of the half as Onondaga improved its record to 16-4 (5-0 in conference) on its way to a resounding 101-41 win on the road.
Onondaga once again placed four players in double figures -
Kayla Kibling (Bishop Ludden) (19),
Brittany Anderson (Mynderse Academy) (14),
Arin Crowell (South Jefferson) (12), and
Amanda Marcely (Bishop Grimes) (10). Â Marcely also paced the Lady Lazers with 13 rebounds - for her third double-double of the season. Onondaga - the highest scoring NJCAA Division III in the nation - hit the century mark for the third time in four games.
The Lady Lazers go on the road again on Monday, January 20 for a key regional match-up with #9-ranked Mohawk Valley Community College. Â Game time is 4pm in Utica.
