Box Score Syracuse, NY - On a night when every player in uniform got into the scoring column. the Onondaga Community College women's basketball team cruised to a 106-34 win over Mid-State Athletic Conference rival Broome Community College.
After Broome had closed an early first half deficit to nine points (33-24) with 4:22 left, Onondaga used a tenacious full court pressing defense to close the half on a 20-4 run and never looked back as the Lady Lazers eclipsed the century mark for the second consecutive game.
Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) paced the well-balanced Onondaga scoring attack with a career high 20 points, while
Brittany Anderson (Mynderse Academy) had 17 and
Lauren Roy (Bishop Ludden) contributed 14. Â
Amanda Marcely had her second double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Onondaga travels to Watertown to play Jefferson Community College in a test of conference unbeatens on Thursday, January 16th at 5pm.
