Box Score Johnstown, NY - Sophomore Lauren Roy (Bishop Ludden) scored a career high 25 points that included five 3-pointers to lead the Onondaga Community College women's basketball team (7-0) to an 84-72 win over previously undefeated Fulton Montgomery Community College (3-1) in a key regional match-up.  Onondaga went into the road game as the #1 ranked team in the region while Fulton Montgomery was 4th ranked.

After Fulton Montgomery tied the score at 30-30 with 4 minutes left in the first half, Onondaga went on an 8-2 run to close out the half.  The Lady Lazers maintained the lead throughout the second half and pulled away to build a 17 point lead with 3 minutes remaining in the game and iced the game by making 12 of 13 foul shots down the stretch.

Three other Onondaga players contributed double figure scoring with Brittney Anderson (Mynderse Academy) scoring 12, Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) 10, and Allie Taylor getting a double-double of 11 points and a game-high 15 rebounds.

Onondaga will be taking on SUNY Delhi at home on Saturday at 3pm.
