Box Score Syracuse, NY - The Onondaga Community College Women's Basketball Team began the week as the #1 D-III junior college team in the region (as voted by region coaches) and finished the week with two impressive victories over regional opponents.

On Sunday, the Lady Lazers (5-0) exploded for a season-high 106 points in a 106-56 home win over the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings.  Onondaga employed a swarming full court defense that converted steals into baskets as they jumped to a 19-4 advantage to start the game.  

All fourteen players who suited up for Onondaga scored with Allie Taylor (Hannibal) leading the way with 17 points followed by Lauren Roy (Bishop Ludden), Kayla Kibling (Bishop Ludden) and Sarah Bregg (Phoenix) who all scored in double figures.  Courtney Louis (Oswego) came off the bench to lead Onondaga in rebounding with 8.

Onondaga continues its season on the road next weekend with games at Schenectady County Community College on Saturday and at Fulton Montgomery Community College on Sunday.
