Eric Miccio enters his second season at the helm for the Lazers. In his first season he was able to guide the Lazers to a 13-2 record. The Lazers were able to capture the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship, the Region III Championship, and ultimately the NJCAA National Championship. The Lazers avenged early season losses to Hartford and Nassau as they beat those teams respectively in the Semi-Final and Championship games, including a thrilling 7-6 Overtime game against Nassau. Under Miccio’s guidance the Lazers produced (6) NJCAA All-Americans, (3) NJCAA All-Academics, (12) All-Region III players, and (8) All-MSAC players. Attackman Percy Booth was named NJCAA Offensive Player of the Year and Goalie Frank Delia was named NJCAA Defensive Player of the Year. For his efforts Miccio was named Mid State Athletic Conference Coach Of The Year. Miccio was also named NJCAA National Championship Coach Of The Year.

Miccio came from Mercyhurst North East University where he restarted the NJCAA Region III program. In two years of competition, Miccio was able to guide the Saints to a Region III post season appearance. During his tenure with Mercyhurst he developed (7) All-Conference Selections, (3) All-Region III Selections, and (2) NJCAA All-Academic Selections. During the 2018 campaign the Saints took great strides as a program and made the playoffs. For his efforts, Miccio was named 2018 Region III Coach of the Year and was voted by his peers as National Coach of the Year.
Miccio’s first coaching job came when he was hired as the Defensive & Recruiting Coordinator for the men's lacrosse team at Oswego in 2012. He also had a short stint as the Interim Head Coach for the Oswego Lakers in the beginning of the 2014 season.
Miccio brings over a decade of playing and coaching experience at elite levels. While in high school at West Genesee (NY), Miccio helped lead his team to a 2008 Class A State Championship. Miccio continued his playing career with the Onondaga Community College Lazers. Miccio was part of back-to-back NJCAA National Championships in 2009 and 2010 with the Lazers. He was a team captain and a (2) year NJCAA Academic All-American. Miccio would then continue his playing career at NCAA DIII SUNY Oswego where he would help lead his team to a successful two year run while also collecting accolades such as 2012 team captain and 2012 All-Conference.Â
Miccio currently resides in Liverpool with his wife Amanda.
