Aaron Cahill

    Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach

Aaron Cahill enters his first season on the Lazers coaching staff. Cahill will work primarily with the offense and run the substitution box for the Lazers this upcoming season.

Cahill played collegiately for Onondaga Community College and then moved onto Le Moyne College. He helped the Lazers win the 2009 NJCAA National Championship as a midfielder. He then brought his talents to Le Moyne College where he demonstrated his leadership abilities as a two-year captain, and obtained NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll. He capped of his college career with the Dolphins winning the 2013 NCAA DII National Championship while also earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration. 

Following his graduation from Le Moyne, Cahill continued his playing career in the international ranks with the Ireland Men’s National Team. Competing in the World Championships in 2014, European Championships in 2016, and finishing as a captain of the team in Israel at the World Championships in 2018. Cahill continues to contribute to the Ireland lacrosse organization while serving as a member of the board as the Director of Alumni. 

Cahill resides in Syracuse with his wife, Annie, and daughter, Rowan. He currently works as a Financial Advisor with Voya Financial Advisors in Fayetteville, NY.
