2 Varsity Letters in High School: All League Honors, Captain, Sportsmanship Award, Coaches Award 

UMass Boston: 
2012 Earned the starting shortstop spot as a freshman and started seven of the 10 games he played in before missing the rest of the season to an injury. Totaled six hits, two runs and two RBI … Swiped two stolen bases 

2013 Started in 21 of the 32 games he played in during his red shirt freshman season … Totaled 19 hits, five RBI and six runs scored … Had a career day against Rhode Island College on April 6 when he went 3-for-4 with two runs scored … Recorded back-to-back two hit games first against UMass Dartmouth on March 30 then against Westfield State University on April 1 … Had a streak of six straight games with at-least one hit … Defensively recorded a career best seven assists in the non-conference win over Worcester State University on March 28 … Totaled 28 putouts and 49 assists at the shortstop position. 

NYCBL: 
Played two summers in the NYCBL with the Syracuse Salt Cats under Coach Mike Martinez. Coach Martinez has asked him to return for the 2014 summer and Tyler has agreed.
Summer 2012: 
Tyler missed the first half of his first summer with the Syracuse Salt Cats (NYCBL) while rehabbing a lower body injury. He hit .353 in his last 12 games with an OBP of .476 after regaining his timing and endurance. 

Summer 2013: Tyler again was an integral part of Coach Martinez's successful franchise and gained a tremendous amount of experience.
