Oswego, NY - The Onondaga Community College men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2026 season Saturday at the SUNY Oswego Invitational.
The Onondaga men finished third as a team in the 6K, led by freshman Joshua Vang, who placed sixth overall with a time of 21:38.3. Sophomore
Jackson Allen finished 14th in 22:53.1, followed by freshman
Michael Dixon in 17th at 23:33.2 and sophomore
Raul Rosario in 21st with a time of 23:59.5. Freshman
Peyton Brutcher and sophomore
Garrett Bleskoski rounded out the Lazers' top six, finishing in 26:16.0 and 26:26.6, respectively. Freshman
Logan Velez also competed for Onondaga, finishing in 35:23.0.
On the women's side, freshman
Iley Humphrey led the Lazers in the 4K, finishing 16th overall with a time of 18:18.7. Freshman
Gabrielle McIntosh followed in 23rd place, crossing the finish line in 19:55.7.
The Lazers will return to action next Saturday, September 12, at the Frank Dillon Memorial Invitational hosted by Lemoyne College at Jamesville Beach State Park.
