Rochester, NY - The Onondaga Community College Cross Country teams competed Saturday at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University. Several Lazers turned in strong performances.
On the men's side,
Logan Bolton led the way for Onondaga, completing the 8K race in 28:08.6.
Josh Vang followed closely behind, finishing in 28:10.4, averaging 5:40 per mile.
Peyton Brutcher completed the 8K in 32:31.4, averaging 6:32.5 per mile.
Garrett Bleskoski continued his strong progression from last season, completing the 8K in 33:38.4, an average pace of 6:46 per mile. Bleskoski bested his previous 8K personal record by more than 40 seconds.
Onondaga's women's team was led by
Iley Humphrey, who completed the 5K race in 21:57.2, averaging 7:03.9 per mile.
The Lazers will compete again on October 10th at the Hamilton Invitational, hosted by Hamilton College.
