Syracuse, NY - Onondaga Men's Basketball hosted two MSAC matchups this weekend in Allyn Hall with Cayuga and Finger Lakes. The Lazers went 2-0 moving to 18-8 on the season and 11-1 in conference.
OCC tipped off with Cayuga at 1pm on Saturday. The two previously met on January 24th where the Lazers took a 85-80 victory over the Spartans. After five lead changes, Onondaga took a 21-18 lead off a
Garang Garang (Syracuse, NY / Bishop Grimes HS) three midway through the first half, which they sustained for the remainder of the contest.
The Lazers led by as much as 33 points, shooting 47.1% from the field, 25% from three, and 70.6% from the freethrow line. Garang led the show with 21 points, followed by
Nyqwan Morris (Brooklyn, NY / Thomas Jefferson HS) with 14.
Siyani Arthur (Brooklyn, NY / Brooklyn Law & Technology) and
Brian Whitley (Geneva, NY / Geneva HS) each had 12 in the victory.

OCC returned to the court on Sunday at 3pm with Finger Lakes. OCC took the lead from the jump and never trailed, leading by as much as 44. Arthur led the way with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Morris tallied 17 and
Ray Baugh (Richmond, VA / Thomas Dale HS) with a season high 16.
The Lazers shot a collective 47.1% from the field, 35.1% from three, and 77.8% from the freethrow line with 48 points in the paint, 17 off 13 Laker turnovers, and 47 off the bench.Â

The men will round out the regular season hosting two more home games, starting with Jefferson Community College this Wednesday in Allyn Hall with a 7:30pm tip.
