Dryden, NY - Men's Soccer began the 2025 season against MSAC opponent Tompkins-Cortland on the road on Wednesday night. 

The two teams went head to head resulting in a scoreless first half. The Lazers put up 4 shots on goal versus the Panther's zero. Started to find their offensive groove, the Lazers manufactured 12 shots on goal in the second half and finding the back of the net was Freshman Matthew Honeyman in the 54th minute, putting Onondaga up 1-0. With time winding down with the Lazers still leading, the Panthers managed to score with just 5 minutes remaining. Three Lazers, Josiah Rogati, Archie Burnett, and Josh Dabbiero each received a yellow card in the final 5 minutes trying to reclaim their lead. With time expiring, Onondaga was unable to come away with a goal, securing a draw with the Panthers.

The Lazers are back at it this Saturday, September 6th on the road at North Country Community College for a 3pm kickoff with the Saints.
