Saranac Lake, NY - Men's Soccer moved to 0-0-2 on Saturday after a draw with the North Country Saints.
The Lazers unable to capitalize on scoring opportunities resulted in a scoreless first half for both teams. It was
Andrew Eccles who put the Lazers ahead 15 minutes into the second half, putting one passed the Saints goalkeeper. With 10 minutes remaining, the Saints tied it up at 1-1 on a free kick, which was initially saved by Lazers keeper
Olivier Bienvenu, but the Saints took advantage of the slippery conditions and put the rebound off Bienvenu into the back of the net. Unable to respond, the buzzer sounded at 1-1 and the Lazers took home a draw.
The men will look for their first victory against the defending National Champions, Mohawk Valley Community College, on the road on Sunday, September 14th at 2:30pm.
