Syracuse, NY - Onondaga is thrilled to announce the Men's Basketball schedule for the 2025-2026 season.
Head Coach Mike Sugamosto fields a nearly completely new roster in his first season leading the Lazers. The men will open up with two scrimmages against Syracuse University Club and SUNY Sullivan before their first regular season contests at the Middlesex Jamboree on October 25th. Onondaga's Winter Classic will be held on the floor of the SRC Arena on November 8th and 9th when the men will face non-region opponents, Kingsborough and Lackawanna.Â
"I'm extremely excited about the potential this group has to be successful in the 2025-26 season. Throughout our preseason workouts, our sophomores have displayed great leadership skills and our freshmen have embraced the challenges that come at the collegiate level. Day by day, we are consistently getting better as a group. Our depth is definitely something to be excited about. We have players from all over the east coast that come from winning programs so it is safe to say that practices are consistently competitive, forcing us to get better individually while making those around us better. A 28 game schedule is a task within itself but we are up for the challenge and look forward bringing Lazer basketball back to the top." Mike Sugamosto
The 2025-26 Region 3 Championship will be hosted by Genesee Community College. The National Championship will be hosted by Herkimer Community College on March 11th-14th.
