Syracuse, NY - The Onondaga Community College athletic department is excited to announce its' newest partnership with Dan Tortora Broadcast Media, LLC, & its program "Wake Up Call with Dan Tortora."

Dan is no stranger to Onondaga Community College, having covered our Men's and Women's Lacrosse programs as well as Men's and Women's Basketball and Baseball over the years. Born and raised in Syracuse, NY, he created his company, Dan Tortora Broadcast Media, LLC, in 2012. He has been broadcasting for 20+ years, covering high school, collegiate, and professional sports, interviewing over 5,000 guests and expanding his reach into what is now his very own multimedia marketing company. He currently partners with Binghamton University and Bryant & Stratton - Syracuse athletic departments as well.

Onondaga's weekly segment on "Wake Up Call", what Tortora is calling the "Lazer Lounge", will air every other Wednesday, beginning September 3rd, at 9am EST. Tortora will focus on the stories of coaches and student-athletes across Onondaga's athletic programs as well as administration.

 "I have made it a point over the years to make sure that Onondaga Community College had a spotlight on their athletic programs and who the Lazers are," Tortora stated. "With this partnership, we can now take everything we have done and turn it into a more consistent message across their entire athletic department, giving the Lazers a home on 'Wake Up Call' for many years to come as we build and grow in this community, my home that I love dearly, of Syracuse and Central New York."
