Syracuse, NY - Onondaga Men's Lacrosse hosted the Region 3A Championship on Saturday on Wilbur Field. The Lazers won the program's 19th Regional Championship over the Tompkins-Cortland Panthers. Onondaga was the No. 1 seed in Region 3 while Tompkins-Cortland came in at No. 4.
The Lazers wasted no time putting up goals on the Panthers, scoring 17 in the 1st quarter. 
Jacob Fifield defended in goal for the first half allowing no Panther goals. The Lazers put up 6 goals in each remaining quarter, resulting in a 35-2 final score. The faceoff team of 
Xavier Shuler, 
Hayden Kinsella, and 
Peter Resnick went an impressive 34-41 in the circle.
Chase Bain and 
Jacob Costello each had a career high 8 goals in the matchup. Bain with 3 assists totaled his 11 points for the day. 
Reef Beal and 
Reo Taira each had tricks in the contest.
The Region 3 victory advanced Onondaga to the 2025 NJCAA Tournament. Onondaga's opponent in the quarterfinal round will be announced this Wednesday at 3pm on the 
NJCAA Network.
