Syracuse, NY - Women's Basketball wrapped up their regular season home schedule with the non-region Opponent, SUNY Sullivan.
Both teams got off to a slow start with no field goals until a minute fifteen into the start of the game where
Kathryn Grainger buried a three to get the Lazers rolling. High pressure defense from OCCÂ kept the Generals scoreless until 5:44. The first timeout was called by OCC when the Generals came back to tie it up 9-9.
Brianna Weaver gave the Lazers the lead out of the timeout with her first three of the night. Hot shooting for the Lazers found
Sarah Hirschler to end the first quarter with a three to go up 19-11 headed into the second.
Grainger buried another three to start the second quarter contributing to her 50% from the arc on the day. The outside shooting stayed hot with Hirschler going 2-3, Weaver 3-8, and Grainger 4-8. The Lazers continued to force Sullivan turnovers and ended the second quarter with their largest lead of the half, 43-23.
OCC increased their lead in the second half with the Generals struggling to score with just 12 points in the third quarter. Grainger sealed up the third with a three at the buzzer. The Lazers walked away with a 69-52 win over the Generals and advance to 19-4.

The Lazers have 4 remaining conference matchups, all on the road before determining postseason play and rankings. They'll travel to SUNY Broome this Wednesday, February 12th for a 6pm tipoff.
