Syracuse, NY - Onondaga Men's Basketball hosted the Fulton-Montgomery Raiders in Allyn Hall on Thursday evening. The Lazers moved to 7-2 with a 76-73 victory over the Raiders.
After a 7-0 start for the Raiders, OCC took a 10-9 lead within the first five, to which they wouldn't relinquish until the Raiders tied things up 73-73 with 1:30 remaining in the game. The Lazers shot 45.2% from the field in the first half. Freshman Guard

Nyqwan Morris (
Brooklyn, NY / Thomas Jefferson HS) followed with 10.
OCC took their largest lead of the game at 14:56 in the second half, 56-30. The Raiders scraped their way back in outscoring the Lazers 47-35 in the half, but still coming up short at the buzzer after the Lazers responded with a freethrow, bucket, and stop after the Raiders tied it up for a 76-73 victory. Morris finished with 23 points for the Lazers.
Garang Garang (
Syracuse, NY / Bishop Grimes HS) dropped 14.
The Onondaga men will take on Jefferson Community College on the road this Wednesday, December 10th at 7pm following the women's game.
