Syracuse, NY - Onondaga Men's Basketball moved to 9-3 losing a tight one to Jamestown Community College in their final matchup of 2025.
Onondaga had a lead as large as 15 in the first half. The Jayhawks went on a run to tie it up with two minutes remaining in the half and taking a 3-point lead at the break, 43-40. The Lazers went on a 10-0 run to start the second half and held onto their lead until 1:13 remained when the Jayhawks reclaimed their lead and edged out by 8 at the buzzer, 85-77.
The Lazers shot 45.0% from the arc and a collective 49.2% from the field. Freshman
Nyqwan Morris (Brooklyn, NY / Thomas Jefferson HS) led with 21 points and 9 rebounds followed by Freshman
Malachi WilsonÂ
(Brooklyn, NY / Thomas Jefferson HS) tallying 16. Morris currently sits 5th in Region 3 with 17.1 points per game.
Onondaga sits in the No. 3 spot in Region 3 headed to the break. They will resume Sunday, January 11th at St. John Fisher University taking on the JV squad at 1pm.
