Syracuse, NY - Women's Basketball hosted the MSAC Opponent, Corning Community College. The Lazers move to 14-4 overall and 7-1 in conference play.
The Red Barons were first to score off the tip, but OCC had a quick response with a 3-pointer from
Amiya Johnson. The Red Barons however put up a 9-5 lead over the Lazers, forcing OCC to use their first timeout. Johnson stayed hot with another three out of the timeout, kick starting OCC's lead. Taking advantage of Corning turnovers, the Lazers ended the 1st quarter with a 28-10 lead.
OCC continued to extend their lead in the 2nd quarter, with shooting hot from the outside. The Lazers capped off the half with a last second bucket from
Mariah Freeman on the assist from

The Lazers continued to grow their lead in the second half.
Abby Ensign put up a three at the buzzer to end the 3rd quarter. A 16-10 4th quarter kept the Lazers on top for a 93-39 victory.
