Syracuse, NY - Softball hosted Jamestown Community College this weekend taking both wins in 5 innings and moving to 7-9 on the season.
Bianca DeSellems started game 1 on the mound and pitched a season high 11 strikeouts. DeSellems performed at the plate as well going 3 for 4 alongside teammates
Sophia Van Horn,
Lily Stevens, and
Olivia Colgan with a team high 18 base hits in game 1. Van Horn and
Layla Isaacs each had 3 RBIs.
Sophomore
Aubrey Fraher took the mound in game 2. Fraher pitched 3 innings with 5 strikeouts before Colgan entered the game to secure the shutout with 4 strikeouts of her own. The 25-0 win was led by
Kendall Cuyler with 4 RBIs.
The Lazers will host the Herkimer Generals this Thursday, April 11th at 3pm.
