Syracuse, NY - The Lazers took two wins over SUNY Broome on Monday night on their home field.
The Lazers 6-5 victory in game 1 came after 9 innings of play when they had a 5-run inning in the 6th to tie it and force extra innings. The walk off came from a solo homerun from
Dante Santos in the bottom of the 9th to secure the win.
Jonathan Gonzalez-Perez had 3 RBIs.
Matt Carner took the win on the mound entering in the 7th and recording 7 strikeouts.
Onondaga took a 10-1 win in game 2 in just 6 innings after 10-run ruling the Hornets in the bottom of the 6th scoring 6 runs.
Dan Gilkey had 2 RBIs for the Lazers.
OCC traveled to Binghamton for another doubleheader on Tuesday.
Dylan Swartwood pitched a near complete game with 7 strikeouts before
Nick Haviland came in for the save.
Carter King had 3 RBIs in the 12-9 victory.
King took the mound in game 2 recording 9 strikeouts and allowing just 1 run in the 7-1 win. Gonzalez-Perez went 3-4 from the plate.
The Lazers will host Genesee Community College tomorrow, April 18th at 2 pm before traveling to them this Saturday, April 20th.
