Onondaga took on Finger Lakes Community College this week each team hosting a doubleheader. The Lazers went 1-3 splitting on the Lakers' home turf and dropping two close games at home.
Canandaigua, NY - Matt Carner pitched a complete game 1 on Thursday. The Lakers 2-run 1st inning would secure them the win with the Lazers only able to produce 1-run in the 6th off a solo homerun from Carner.
Wyatt Braun started game 2 allowing no runs for the Lakers in 6 innings. Braun was credited with the win and recorded 6 strikeouts.
Jonathan Gonzalez-Perez had 2 hits and 2 RBIs in the 8-3 victory for the Lazers and splitting the day.
Syracuse, NY - The Lakers took the trip to Syracuse on Saturday for another doubleheader between the two teams. Freshman
Jason Aguonie was brought to the mound for the Lazers in the 5th. Aguonie allowed no hits and and no runs for the Lakers giving Onondaga's offense a chance. Cutting it to 3-5 in the 7th, the Lazers fell just short dropping game 1.Â
Carter King started game 2 on the mound pitching 5 innings until Finger Lakes took a 6-4 lead. The Lazers' final at bats wouldn't be enough to come back from the 6th inning, dropping game 2 4-6.

Jake Khouri led with 2 hits each, Gonzalez-Perez had 2 RBIs.
The Lazers are back against Cayuga Community College this Wednesday, April 3rd at 3pm in Auburn, NY.
