Watertown, NY - The men faced the Jefferson Cannoneers on the road last night falling short and moving to 1-12 in conference play.
The Lazers'Â took advantage of sloppiness on Jefferson's end scoring 27 points off turnovers, but a slow start would be unrecoverable trailing 45-28 at the half and finishing with an 80-93 final score.
LaMar Matthews led with 23 points and 6 assists. Matthews remains in the top 3 in Region III with 18.4 points per game.
The men will host SUNY Adirondack this weekend on Saturday, February 10th in Allyn Hall.
