Syracuse, NY - Women's Basketball moves to 5-1 and 4-0 in conference with a 75-29 victory over Finger Lakes Community College Wednesday night in Allyn Hall.
The Lazers set the tone early outscoring the Lakers 19-8 in the first quarter. The Lazers pulled away more and more each quarter with an 18-point lead at the half. Points were scored all across the board for OCC led by
Amiya Johnson and
Brianna Weaver each with 14.
Sarah Hirschler,
Kathryn Grainger,
Jayda McFall and
Isabella Shenandoah-Kurtz each had 8.
The athletic department recognized the 2024 Women's Lacrosse Team during halftime honoring the National Championship roster and coaching staff with a ring ceremony.
Onondaga sits in the No. 7 spot in the nation in week 2 of the NJCAA Division III rankings. The women will return to the court after Thanksgiving break on December 5th when they travel to Johnstown, NY for a 6pm start against Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
