Syracuse, NY - The Volleyball team hosted the Broome Hornets on Tuesday after hosting their first regional pod over the weekend. The Lazers battled in each set just barely falling short and taking an 0-3 loss.

The Lazers came up short 22-25 in the first set, followed by a larger deficit in the second, only scoring 16. The Lazers put up a fight in the third leading the Hornets, but struggled to deliver taking the 25-23 loss to end the match.

Ava Bero led with 5 kills and 3 aces and Alexsis Knox with 11 assists. Kara Stephens had a strong defensive showing with 11 digs.

The Lazers will look to bounce back this weekend at the Herkimer Regional Pod after the 10am first match on Saturday.
