Syracuse, NY - The Baseball team hosted the Monroe Community College Tribunes this weekend. Onondaga took game 1 with a 3-1 victory and dropped game 2 defeated 11-1.
Anders Axelson started game 1 on the mound and took the win pitching 5 innings and shutting out the Tribunes.
Mike Benedetto went 2 for 2 from the plate with an RBI alongside
Kyle Wood and
Carlos Fantauzzi for the Lazers' three runs. Onondaga finished with ten base hits against the Monroe pitching.
The Lazers fell flat in game 2 unable to string hits together.
Jake Khouri had an RBI scoring
Carlos Fantauzzi for the Lazer's only run. Jack Scanlon led with two base hits. and now leads the team with 32 on the season and a .308 average. Aiden Green took the loss on the mound.
Onondaga honored their second year players in their Sophomore Day ceremony. They will graduate the following ten athletes:

Jack Knapp
Mike Benedetto

Jake Zawadzki
The team will host Broome Community College this Thursday at 2:00pm for their next contest.
