Syracuse, NY- The Lazers opened the weekend with a doubleheader against Genesee Community College. The Cougars got the best of the Lazers in both games taking the first game in six innings, 11-1 and winning the second 13-5.
On Sunday, Onondaga bounced back and swept Corning in the doubleheader. The Lazers took the first game 11-2 and dominated the second game again with a score of 13-2.

Wyatt Braun held the Red Barons scoreless until the fifth inning. By this time Onondaga already had nine runs scored. Jack Scanlon led the Lazers offensively with three hits and three runs on four at bats.
In the second contest, the Lazers scored nine runs in the fourth inning to push the lead to 13-2 which led to the mercy rule being enforced in the fifth inning.
Tyler Campbell led the Lazers with three hits, two runs, and four RBIs.
Carter King pitched the first four innings and had seven strikeouts.
The Lazers will go on the road tomorrow for a doubleheader at Jamestown Community College. The Lazers swept the Jayhawks last time the two teams faced each other.
